After a great morning and even naps for a few of the littles, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Heugly’s house.
Yummy dinner (thanks Sue!), cute family, and fun presents.
Camri was not one that got a nap, she was starting to get a little tired. However, she did try to smile for the camera. Tried.
You think they might be related? Or at least use the same barber?

Christmas….continued….

Christmas is here!
The kids got their jammies and slippers, they looked so cute!
Joe invited his parents over to read the Nativity from the Bible to wrap up the Christmas Eve festivities. Early bedtime was in order, so the kids went downstairs for their sibling sleepover. We let them watch Toy Story 3 (for the first time ever) and they slept on the couches. We set out our gifts, then we heard Santa doing his business a little while later. It was nice to get to bed at a decent hour. Of course, I waited until Joe went to bed to get up and finish the cross-stitch I gave him for Christmas. Nothing like finishing at the last minute. I started it in January in hopes of giving it to my bear-loving husband for his birthday in March, but it only took 9 extra months. If time is money, that’s the most expensive gift I’ve ever given him.
Joe and I woke up at about 7:30 and the kids were still fast asleep. I got Annie up and fed her then we went down and started stomping around, setting up the video camera, turning on the lights, trying to wake up the sleepy-heads. Finally we went downstairs and they were just getting up at 8:00! We lined up youngest to oldest, walked up the stairs and let the magic begin.
Most of the morning is on video, but here are some snapshots of the wonderment…
Beau eating his Fruit Loops on his sit-n-spin… Annie’s first Christmas!!

Helping Annie open her presents…
The carnage…
I think the kids were happy, they got some cool stuff. Dakota got a Kindle and monkey stuff. Emma and Colin got the Leapster Didj gaming systems. Camri got Barbie stuff galore. Beau got his firetruck.
Their stockings were full, they got some clothes and some other fun things. Joe got some basketball stuff, some mustard from France, and some cool gifts from the kids (thank you to everyone that participated!)… Joe spoiled me in the best way 1) he gave me an IPad and 2) It was free (he won it!!). Plus a cricut, I can’t wait to play with it!
But the best part was hanging out with the kids, playing the games, figuring out the new stuff, and trying to get the new stuff out of the MASSIVE amounts of packaging. We were together and it made the day magical.
Don’t forget the cute aprons that we got from Grandma and Grandpa Pulsipher!
Later we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Heugly’s house for the festivities, but that’s for another post (coming soon).
Christmas Eve
Oh, Christmas Eve, how I love thee!!
Joe took the kids for a while in the morning so I could get ready for the Annual Pulsipher Christmas Eve Celebration. They got back just in time…we had 39 people there, yummy food, and lots of fun!

Cute Maddie!!
We had some good news…Jake got his mission call to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!!! We are so excited for him (and a teeny bit jealous).
But even with all these people, I wasn’t left with a mess. Everyone helped clean up and they looked good doing it, right Randy? :) Another one for the books. The party was early, so everyone was able to spend the evening with their own little families. What a great day!!
