We usually celebrate birthday week, and this time was no exception! We started with the big stuff on Thursday, I showed up at the school and surprised Camri by checking her out and taking her to lunch with Grandma…birthday twins!!! I love the Happiness sign behind these two, thanks Wingers!

That night, Joe and I took Camri on a special Daddy-Mommy-Daughter date night, just the three of us.
Our friend Yenis sings at the Mexican restaurant El Paisa, so we surprised Camri and took her there to meet our friends, eat delicious food, and listen to beautiful music. The food was incredible!!

Mmmmmmmmmm…..

Camri was even invited up to sing, she danced Gangnam style, and got a huge sparkler as her birthday dessert candle! So fun!

The next day, after breakfast in bed, this little beauty put on her pink and got ready for school. Good morning Sunshines.

What? Another surprise? I took Beau and Annie with our brown-bag-lunches and met Camri in the cafeteria for lunch. Looks like the kid behind us didn’t want to miss this photo op.

School got out early, a nice gift for Camri (we love Fridays!), and we got busy playing. Her cute friend recently went through her closet and had a bunch of clothes she was giving away. She asked her mom if she could give them to Camri….so nice! We picked up three buckets of clothes, shoes, belts, scarves, hats, books, you name it. She was in heaven! We actually found something for every kid, but Camri got most of it. She had to try on four or five outfits before she settled on this one for the rest of the day. Lookin’ good, Buttercup!

Her “birthday cake” was done by the time she got home, I think she liked it!

We had yummy soup for dinner, and spent a fun night with the family. In the middle of doing presents, our next-door neighbor’s grandkids brought over a card and check that I was going to take to a bridal shower the next day. While I was getting cupcakes for the kids, Camri assumed it was a birthday card and opened it up, “Is all this money for me?!!!” she asked, “Tell your Grandma THANK YOU!!” Yeah, no. I put it in a new envelope and in my purse so that wouldn’t happen again.
She got shoes, art supplies, and hair stuff…but the one and only thing she was dreaming of…

was Louis. From One Direction. A doll. That sings. She was in heaven.

She wouldn’t let him out of her sight.

Happy birthday beautiful girl! I can’t believe my little darling is 7!!
