Christmas Eve

It’s time again for Christmas Eve with the Pulsiphers.  We missed those who weren’t able to come, but they all had good reasons (you know, like their kids coming into town or having major surgery…good reasons!), but we were thrilled with those that could come!
Beau was especially excited when Justin Bieber showed up….that’s what he called Taylor all night….not Justin, Justin Bieber.  I guess I can see a little bit of resemblance there.

Camri likes Daniel Craig as much as the next girl, but she traded this away for some coloring stuff.  DSC01305

Brad’s story was enchanting.  Wish I could remember what it was about…DSC01330Thanks to Brad and his Physical Therapy skills, he popped us all back into shape.  DSC01344
This is probably one of my favorite pictures of the night…DSC01342
DSC01354DSC01355After the party, the kids quickly put their new jammies on and we tidied up a bit for Santa.  Grandma and Grandpa Heugly came over to read Luke 2 with us.  DSC01370After a short Christmas show with Dad, the kids were ready for their sleepover. DSC01381DSC01383DSC01385It was a good idea, but they had trouble going to sleep…too excited!  So we eventually split up the boys and girls and they finally fell asleep.
But first, Beau has something to say…DSC01343
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!!!DSC01366

Temple Square

We met our friends at Temple Square on Monday to go see the lights.  Two facts about that night:
1) It was our actual anniversary.  We had our hot date on Saturday night (Carver’s for dinner….yes!! and Sherlock Holmes movie…so good!)
2) Annie is not quite ready to get rid of the binkie.  We had to stop at Target on the way to pick up a new one.  It made for a much more pleasant night.
So, we got to Temple Square to find out that most of North America had the same idea…it was packed! Joe dropped us off and left to go find parking.  We found our friends and quickly got to work taking pictures.  It was very chilly!DSC01223

Once upon a time, we took a picture together in front of this tree (or one like it)…we were dating, but not engaged yet.  When we got the pictures developed (yes, kids, you used to have to take FILM in!!), I looked at us in front of the tree and decided we looked good together….like we were meant to be together forever.  We were engaged a few weeks later….DSC01237

Okay, it is seriously time for hot chocolate…let’s go to the Lion House.  What? They close at 8:00 and it’s 8:02? We missed it.  No matter, we’ll go to Black Bear Diner.  What? They’ve run out of hot chocolate?  To be fair, our waiter offered to make it using milk, hot water, and chocolate syrup.  Ummm, no thanks.
Good old McDonalds to the rescue!  Hot chocolate all around!!DSC01253
Off to bed with you kids, don’t you know we have a lot of playing to do this week?
Happy Anniversary my love!DSC01256
