I took my girls to see “Divergent”. The show was good, but the highlight was Koko repeating under her breath “Oh man, he is so hot!”.
For real.
Good thing he’s fake. You know, like all movie stars and celebrities.

For Christmas, I got Joe tickets to go see Il Divo at the Energy Solutions Arena. Liz had the same idea, great minds think alike, eh?
So we went to dinner with Jake and Liz to Cinegrill, then headed over to the concert.
We were probably the youngest ones there, by a lot, but that meant the crowd was courteous and kind (and didn’t stand up during the concert).
It was awesome!
I love these guys and their voices are like butter. Lea Salonga joined them…for those that don’t know, she is the voice of Mulan and Jasmine. I totally called it, I know my Disney princesses!
It was a fun evening with my man, Merry Christmas Joe!
The festivities continue! After our fun morning, we got ready for part two…the birthday party! She decided she wanted a cowgirl party…so that’s what we did!
But first, we gave her family gifts, including this Winnie the Pooh blanket from Dad.
We had six stations: shooting range (knock the cups over with rubber bands), horse races (with stick ponies), panning for coins (looking for coins in a wheelbarrow full of dirt), horseshoes, lasso the stump, and pinata. These little cowpokes had a blast, but the best was yet to come!
PONIES!!! We were able to get a pony to come our party, and when they showed up, they had two ponies in the trailer. They were coming from another party. Anyway, for a few more dollars, we were able to use both ponies at the party.
Meet Marshmallow:
The kids waited patiently in line, the little ones rode Marshmallow since she was smaller. The bigger kids rode Belle. They were so stinkin’ cute!!
We let the neighbors know we were going to have ponies, so they brought their littler ones over to have a ride. It was seriously such a fun party! The kids were excited, the parents were excited! The ponies only pooped once in our yard, bonus!
After the party ended, Joe and I took the birthday girl to dinner and had a quiet night with the family. It’s been a wonderful, lovely day filled with wonderful, lovely people.
One more party was breakfast with Dad on Monday. Happy Birthday sweet Camri, it’s a day we’ll never forget!!
